The designers for this particular AF1 most likely busted their balls and after months of deliberation finally decided on this particular colorway of red/red/red. The upper is a combination of smooth leather and croc leather. Ever since the release of an all red Emerica Reynolds 1 back in 2002 or so, we’ve had a great fixation for all red shoes but maybe even these are too red.

Running can be cool too! The laser etched designs on this shoe might appeal to the inked crowd but the lasering also references Nike Sport Culture sneakers of the past. This bold move reminds us very much of the first generation Nike Laser products from 2003. A thin layer of fur line the shoes so running can be cool and warm during the winter months. Via Sneakernews

New samples of surfaced of Nike’s original Air Max 1 model. The upper is relatively tame barring the use of some camouflage print seen on the heel. Although most fans who appreciate the use of a mesh toebox will most likely rather see their Air Max’s devoid of any use of patent and camouflages. Look for these to hit select Nike dealers in the coming weeks.
